Water is not chemically pure as you would think of it!. Although the main substance is H20, it is actually a solution of water and other subtances that either were in the water originally and not remomved by a filtration process or were added (such as floride or sodium benzine)!. Distillition, or the process of boiling water to extract its more pure form, often removes nearly all biological material in the water!. However, there is some air in the bottle and mold and fungus can multiply in the right conditions!. This is how water aquires a stale taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because its in a plastic bottle, the bottle has all sorts of chemicals in that you wouldn't want to drink!. The best before date ensures you don't put yourself at risk of these!.

So I've been told!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

By law every product has to have a sell by date, I don`t usually pay any attention to them, your nose is the best date checker, water should last for ever if it hasn`t been openedWww@FoodAQ@Com

when water is not moving, it goes stagnant!.

if you left a glass of tap water out for a few weeks it would go green and mouldyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Water can get an "off" taste
Besides any food item has to have an expiration date on it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Something to do with the chemicals in the plastic bottle making water taste funny I think!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's to do with the freshness I'd say!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

only if it looks greenWww@FoodAQ@Com
