Question: Does tobasco sauce (mcilhenny's) ever go bad!?
Hi,
i know there's an expiration date, but has anyone who ever somehow managed to not use their bottle by the expiration date ever had it go bad!?
ThanksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
yes ,it will get pale in color and the full flavor will tend towards weak and salty, but this takes months after the expiration date ,I have a half of a gallon jug in my panty that is a year and three quarters old ,and it is just as good as the day it was shipped to meWww@FoodAQ@Com

I've never had any go "bad" per Se!. It just loses all that's "good" about it but not by the expiration date necessarily!!

I do know a couple facts about food, oddly, and the one and only food that NEVER goes bad is honey!. also, pineapple is the only fruit that doesn't ripen at all once you pick it!. So you'd best be sure it's perfect before you pick it!. (More like cut it if you've ever seen the way pineapple grows!)

also, tomatoes are a BERRY!. China berry!.

I've know these things forever for some reason-FYI!.!.!.!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always finish an original recipe long before expiration date, so I don't know!. My daughter gave me some smoky chipotle Tabasco!. That stuff was nasty!. It certainly looked like it went bad!. It wasn't red anymore, it was brown!. Btw, do you know where I can get some garlic Tabasco!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
