The old cast iron fry pans work great as long as it's seasoned just like wok's are! Many people clean there wok's and cast iron fry pans wrong! They scrub them clean with harsh brillo pads etc, most foods come off the wok's and cast iron fry pans, without having to scrub them, if done right away after cooking!
Then after cleaning the wok or cast iron fry pan, put a little cooking oil in the wok or cast iron fry pan and put it on the stove on high until it starts smoking pretty good, then take it off the burn and let it cool a bit, then take a cloth or wet paper towel and just wipe it out a little! But don't dry them, like you would regular skillets! Cast iron fry pans and wok's will rust, if you don't leave a little film of oil on them!
That's why the cast iron fry pans and wok's get so rusty, people wash them and scrub them, and then dry them completely and don't reseason them, and leave a a little oil film on them! It tells you that when you purchase a wok, that is boxed up! You must season the wok's and cast iron fry pans after every use! Before putting them away into a cupboard etc!. After doing that after every use and after about five uses, the food barely sticks at the high cooking temperatures!
Clean them the wrong way and scrubbing them, the food will always stick! And they will rust if a light film of oil isn't wiped onto them after every use and seasoning right after cleaning!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You mean a WOK!? Right!? Personally I haven't cooked in YEARS, I HATE it but my friend that I'm currently staying with does cook every night when he gets home from work & he'll use basically any skillet as long as it's large enough!. He especially seems to like my large electric (and go figure-just like new!!) skillet!!
Sorry, I wasn't quite sure at first what you meant!.!.!.!.So do NOT walk/wok your dog-cat, ok!? :) Sorry could NOT help myself it seemsWww@FoodAQ@Com
