Should I wait for the microwave bleeps to stop before opening?!

However, if the microwave is old, the door seal is probably leaking microwave radiation like a sieve!. You can get little detectors!. This should have your friend looking for lead-lined CK's!Www@FoodAQ@Com

hahahaha thats really funny!. no i never wait and i'm still in one piece not roasted!. the beeping stops as soon as you open the door!. i think his theory is a little off!.!.!. its not like thats when it is the hottest in teh microwave!.!.!. the beeps just tell you its done for people that dont stare at the time left on their food that is cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
When you open the door before it is finished not all of the microwaves have been absorbed so when you open the door the come out and hit you but it would only be a small amount not enough to do much damage!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Those seconds dont acctually count , as soon as the beeping stops the microwaves stop which basically means that the microwave has stopped heating!. good luck with ur mate though :PWww@FoodAQ@Com
