Convience foods , confession time everyone, lol..What do you do?!

Question: Convience foods , confession time everyone, lol!.!.What do you do!?
I'm Italian and my ancestors would probably roll over in their graves at the thought of my doing this but I must confess, there are times when I use convience foods when I'm pinched for time!.My question is :What are you fav premade foods and how ( if you do this) doctor them up to taste the way that you like them!? I buy pasta sauce in a jar Gia Russa brand , one hot sicilan and the other tomato basil,I add vermouth, ground fennel seeds, fresh rosemary, breadcrumbs, roasted chicken ,smoked virginia ham, maple syrup, tamari soy sauce, and xv olive oil!. I cook it about 1 1/2 hrs until it's nice and dark!.
Only after all that does it taste good, lol!.So what are your pre made food tricks!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
This is fast, but good!. It's my recipe!.

Tasty, High fiber, black beans and brown rice

can of S&W Caribbean Black beans (has Red Bell Pepper, Anaheim Chili Peppers,Diced Onion & Lime, Juice in Caribbean Sauce)
can of mexican stewed tomatoes (has green pepper and onion)
chili paste (tablespoon of Huy Fong Sambal Oelek, Chili Paste)
Uncle Ben's Brown Rice (Microwave in bag)

Drain juice from cans and add 1-2 tablespoons cornstarch, mix

Cook beans, tomatoes till bubbling!. If you would like it thicker and more sauce, add cornstarch mixture, stir till the sauce comes out clear!.

Meanwhile, microwave brown rice for 90 seconds!. Place beans mixture on top or mix together!. This makes 2 servings!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When short of time I use 2 minute noodles for my chinese dishes (saving the flavour packets)
I also use canned baked beans in chilli, if short of pinto!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
