Question: Bottled water, plastic bottles left in the car for 2 days, was over 98 degrees!. Is it safe to drink!?
Answers:
I wouldn't not with all the stuff about plastics, additives and leaching that is in the news lately!.

But rather than throw it away, use it to water non-food houseplants!Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!.

Even if it is, I wouldn't test it!.

Plastic bottles can melt into the water, causing problems that can develop a long time after you drink it- I'm talking years and years later!.

If you have time to go onto yahoo answers and ask about it, couldn't you just get a glass from the sink!? (I'm not trying to be a smart alec, but I'm just suggesting!.)

I would throw away the plastic bottles and get new ones!.

Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Water never gets old!.

If it was in the sun or had the cap open!. it's a litte risky, but my friend had some water from an opened water bottle that had been sitting in my locker for the whole year (today was the last day) and is fine!.

So I would say it's safe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not really!. I have read stories about a link to cancer, especially in women!. Something happens to the plastic when it is heated!. I believe Cheryl Crow reported on this due to her breast cancer!. I would not recommend drinking either!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would not drink it, even if it was not open!. It really needs to be in a much cooler place than that!.!. If it was open, then don't drink it either!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes, no different then boiling water and drinking it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, It's not safe to drink!. I saw on the news if yuh leave water bottles in the car && drink it yuh may get cancer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it was unopened, it's fine!. If you drank out of the bottle throw it out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If they were closed maybe, but to be safe I would throw them out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Was it open!? No!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
