Should I eat tomoatoes today? or pass because of samenella?!
I'm going to Moe's SouthWest Grill today for lunch!.!. and usually I get their pico de gallo (which is chopped tomatoe's and chopped onions together) on my taco salad there!. But I'm worried because I the past couple days I've been hearing on the news that tomatoe's are causing people to have Samenella Poisoning!. Should I get the pico de gallo today or pass!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eat the tomatoes, they are full of a chemical called lycopene, this is a powerful anti-oxidant which is great for the body and for the skin, never be afraid of health scares, I think maybe you are saying salmonella this is normal found in poultry products and not tomatoes, if you think that the restaurant has not got good hygiene then avoid it anyway otherwise you will be safe, In the old days in America they used to believe that tomatoes were poisonous, to which we know now they are not, they also used to be called love apples!. In the areas where the outbreak has occurred most restaurants have pulled tomatoes!. If you eat them at home I suggest buying them from local growers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
