Question: Would you eat wrapped up caramel candy pieces if the wrapper (I think it's cellophane) has a HORRIBLE smell!?

Well, I'm not sure if I should be eating these or not!. The wrapper has a STRONG chemical odor!. The second I opened it, I was able to smell it!. I ate some earlier, & I'm fine!. Not sure if the wrapper is cellophane or plastic or something else!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
