The simple answer would be to just quit!.
Unfortunately, there isn't a soda-patch you can just slap on your arm each day, so it may be hard!.
Try drinking your usual amount of soda each week (one a day hopefully) and each week subtracting one soda!. So, 1st week you drink 7 sodas, 2nd week drink 6 sodas, etc!.
also, stop buying those 12 packs!. Not having them around to tempt you will help, trust me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Speaking from someone whose only had soda 3 times in her nineteen years of living, i might make it sound easy and it probably isn't - if you're used to drinking it!. i don't know why i've never liked the taste of soda, i feel like it burns my tongue!. and water is my absolute favorite drink- i like crave it whenever im thirsty!. people ask me all the time how i could possibly CRAVE water but to me its so refreshing because it quenches your thirst and it's healthy!. i love water, especially after a long run or something - it's so cold and satisfying!.
alright, i know not everyone is CRAZY about water like me, and i know your goal is to stop drinking soda (and you mentioned nothing about water!.!.!.so i'm not trying to push that)!. i'd say START off small!.!.!.don't go cold turkey (i!.e!.- quitting soda for good)!. if you stop drinking soda all at once, you might be successful for a few days but then guaranteed you will WANT it soo much around the end of the week!.!.!.that you'll 'binge drink' on it (almost like an alcoholic with their booze!)!.!.!.and have several glasses of soda in one day!. so start off small, i don't know how much you drink of it right now - so i can't really say what 'small' is for you!. maybe small is like !.!.only 2 cans of soda a day!. drink two cans a day for a week!.!.!.then the next week only one can a day!. then the following week, a can only every other day!. then a can every two days!. pretty soon, you won't crave it as much!.
what you really need to do is find a healthier drink that you really love and that you would crave!. maybe orange juice!? i know i love orange juice with pretzels!!! but be careful with juices!. make sure you're no substituting your unhealthy soda addiction with a sugary, juice addiction!. that can be ALMOST or nearly as bad as soda!. so make sure when you find your substitute you read the back of the label!. of course, you can always go with water as your substitute :) i know vitamin water is very popular now, and many of my friends are addicted to it - so maybe you should look into that!.

Buy a cheap piece of steak!. Pour Coca-Cola into the center of the steak and watch it eat its way into the steak!. Then, imagine what it does to your stomach!.

try having one day a week where you don't drink any soda!.!.!.like sodaless sunday!. then that one day turns into two days, and then eventually, you give it up for good!. it worked for me!. supposatly, if you stop drinking soda, you can loose like 10 pounds a month!.
