or, more simply, break one!. if it has a noxious odor, throw them all out!. If not, enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Normally, dates of expiry are predated, as a precaution!.
Testing it is entirely at your own risk!.
!.
What then is, risky!. Crossing the road!? Chewing gum!? What!?!?!?!?
James's x GF and Cardo098 have offered calculated risk taking options in this particular case, based on their acquired intelligence!.!.!.!.

living on my own, i always have too many eggs that over-run their sell-by-date so i put em in water, if they sink they're ok, if they float they're not :D I usually crack em open in a seperate bowl tho, and see if they smell bad rather than just chucking em straight in the cooking :PWww@FoodAQ@Com

Gently drop the egg into the bowl of water!. If it:

sinks to the bottom and stays there, it is about three to six days old!.
Sinks, but floats at an angle, it's more than a week old!.
Sinks, but then stands on end, it's about two weeks old!.
Floats, it's too old and should be discarded!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

they are fine the date on the package is the sell by date for the store, in fact as long as eggs are in the icebox and kept cool they are good for months after the date on the packageWww@FoodAQ@Com

They may well be!. Isnt there a test where you place the egg in water, depending on which way it floats its ok!? Sorry not much use! Or you could just crack one and see if it smells dodgy!.

(Edit) Ahhhh, so thats how you test them in water!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

some eggs tend to crack when exposed to to much fridged air!. If you don't see any cracks try to make omlets with diced ham for breakfast!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah, they're still good!. I would try to use them up in the next few days!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i would throw them away!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
