Crushed Garlic...advice?!

Question: Crushed Garlic!.!.!.advice!?
I have some unpeeled cloves of Garlic but want to crush them because I use more crushed than whole garlic!. My food processor is too large to crush them so I will have to do it with the back of a knife blade, I guess!. How long will it keep after I crush them and whats best container to store them in!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Put them in a glass jar in the fridge!. They'll keep for quite a while, especially if you add a little lemon juice or vinegar!. You can also crush them with the bottom of a heavy pan or bowl or rolling pin (wrap that in saran wrap so your next pie crust doesn't taste like garlic)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lay them on the cutting board, place the flat side of a chef's knife on them and smack the side of the knife with your fist!. Or just press down real hard, this will break the paperish peel on the cloves!. I do it all the time, works great! Just crush as needed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The crushed garlic should keep about a week in the fridge!. I buy the jared kind and it keeps for months!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should invest in a garlic press it's a very nifty inexspensive gadgetWww@FoodAQ@Com
