Why shouldn't I have frozen my rosti!!?!


Question: Why shouldn't I have frozen my rosti!!!?
I bought a prepared rosti from the supermarket and not reading the pack put it straight in the freezer!. now Ive come to use it I see stated on pack 'not suitable for freezing' why would that be!.
will it be detromental to the taste!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

rosti are potatoes that have been grated and drained of moisture when u freeze then defrost they become wet and do not cook very well, they will be quite soggy and they wont crisp up on the outsideWww@FoodAQ@Com
