Is it safe to eat Costco Rosteirre chicken that was in the refrigerator for a week?!

Question: Is it safe to eat Costco Rosteirre chicken that was in the refrigerator for a week!?
My parents tend to buy it every time they go to Costco!. The taste is pretty mediocre, and we always end up not eating it!.!.!.but I feel bad for wasting something that was meant to be killed for food, so I was deciding if I should eat it (Since there's nothing left to eat at home!.!.!.) It was in the refrigerator for a week, and I checked if it smelled, and it smelled fine!.!.!.

Is it safe to eat it after heating it up!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
A week in the refrigeration section is too long!. Don't risk food-poisoning! If it were in the freezer section it wouldn't be so bad but not ideal either!. I know how you must feel about wasting food!. I also go by the adage WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!. But in some circumstances it is better to be safe than sorry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It should be fine!.
Having worked in the food service industry for a number of years, our rule of thumb was to toss anything that was over 3 days old!.!.!.but we were serving the public not our families, so the restrictions are tighter!.
If you don't like the chicken on its own and your parents continue to buy it, take the meat off the bones and use that to make chicken salad or enchiladas/quesadillas or soup with!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can eat it!.!.!.yea!.!.its not good!.!.!.!.no left overs a good after a week!.!.!.!.but if you warm it up for a good 5 minutes in the microwave to kill possible bacteria!.!.!.!.you should be right!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wouldn't risk it - especially with chicken!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
