Question: Is there any way to detect if a tomatoe has been infected with salmonella!?
also, how can I prevent myself from getting sick from it without having to give up tomatoes!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The FDA said cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes, tomatoes sold with the vine still attached and tomatoes grown at home were not implicated in the Salmonella Saintpaul outbreak!.

If you are concerned, don't buy ANY until you hear from the FDA!. Salmonilla is a serious illness, gets you very, ill, and is miserable!. Its not worth the risk, ditto for any other food that was pulled by the FDA!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
