Question: Can you get ringworm from eating raw potatoes!?
i love to eat raw potatoes with some salt; but ive heard that you can get ringworm from eating raw potatoes!.!.!.is it true!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ringworm is a fungus and can be acquired from working outdoors in warm, wet, dirty (soil) environments!.

In theory, I suppose it could happen that you could acquire ringworm from eating raw potatoes, but I have never heard of anyone catching ringworm that way!.!.!.or eating raw potatoes, for that matter!. If it did occur, I would suspect that you would get it on your face and/or hands!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

unless the potato was inadvertantly infected with ring worm, make sure you wash the potato thoroughly before cutting it and then wash thoroughly once cut up
