How can I stop eating so much food???!
I eat quite healthly but I eat too much!. The meals are healthy and not too much but I snack alot!. I don't know how to stop!. I tell myself not to eat snacks but i always end up eating chocolate bar or packet of crisps without realising!. I need away to stop me eating the food!. And the rest of my family have alot of stuff like that in the house so I can't just make sure I have none in the house!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't eat out of boredom!. If your a student; I know school is out, but instead of eating do something productive!. Like make a list of things you want to accomplish during your summer break!. For example:
*Go to six flags/raging waters
*get back into reading books for leisure
*make clothes, learn a new foreign language
*give clothes away to the Good Will
*be daring and skydive/bungee jump
*broaden your horizons by listening to new music from other countries
*go for a bike ride
*Start cooking more
*workout
*take a dance class
It's fine to snack throughout the day!.!.!.say every 3 or 4 hours to keep your metabolism up to speed!. also, perhaps instead of eating drink a glass of water!.!.!.if that doesn't do the trick and you're still having a craving or hungry then go ahead and eat!.

I used to have a habit of snacking frequently, but these days I do this far less often (probably owing to being constantly on the 'go' chasing after two little rascals though!)!. I find that making sure there are no unhealthy snacks available in the house, but as you have mentioned, that is not an option for you!.
I think it will have to be a case of using your willpower, and trying your hardest to not eat inbetween meals!
Try buying alternative healthy snacks (full of vitamins and low in fats/sugars) to have when you really feel like snacking - some healthy cereal bars, raisins, or fruit and veg that is fibre-rich (and therefore more likely to give you that full feeling - try apples or raw carrots)!.
Another tip that I was once told was to drink a glass of water instead whenever I felt the need to snack - keeps you hydrated, and often fills you up so you don't feel like snacking right away!
There are such things as appetite reducers, though I've never used these and have no idea whether or not they actually work!.
It's probably a good idea to have a few snacks during the day rather than just cutting them out altogether!. They help keep your energy levels up - but as I said before, make the snacks healthy!

i hav this xact same problem try keepin all the food in a cupboard so that u cant c it
u can also try chewing sugarfree gum, that way ur preventin urself from eatin anything, u cnat eat if ur chewing gum!!!! and if its sugar free u wont b gaining any calories either!!!! hope that i helpedWww@FoodAQ@Com

maybe try snacking on snowcones!. i am exactly the same way, i eat dill pickles and they are only 5 calories a piece!. or try popsicles!. or what you could do is get a hobby that involves your hands, like cross stitching or a puzzle to take your mind off of wanting to snack((:Www@FoodAQ@Com
try things like chewing gum, or if you really need a snack, get something harmless, like carrots, grapes, or even jello!. I changed all my junk food for stuff like this, and i've lost weight from it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
put filling snack food in little portion sized baggies!. aka!. almonds, cheerios, trail mix ect!. i know how hard it is but when u have healthy, sizable snacks ready to go, its much easierWww@FoodAQ@Com

Fill yourself up with leafy green vegetables!.!.!.!.they are low in calories and extremely high in fiber!. Fiber will make you feel fuller quicker and longer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well lately I have stopped snacking because I'm too busy doing something else!? Maybe carry a bottle of water with you everywhere and keep drinking some so you'll be too full to snack!?
