My mom bought some eggs with the groceries today!. She set them down on a table(outside) so she could open the back door!. She forgot to bring them in and they sat out in 90 degree weather for 2 hours!. They were still a little cold when i found them and brought them in!. Are they still good!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
yes, they are ok!. eggs are very durable!.you will use them before the can go bad!. when they do go bad it is easy to tell the white of the egg starts getting real runny and it smells very bad(like sufur) beleive me you will know when they go bad!. when i was in the navy we didnt have much storage space on the submarine so for long voyages we would have to store our eggs at room temperature, they would last for about 20-30 days before going bad!. the closer you came to the 30 day mark it was a game to see if you cracked a rotten egg or a fresh egg on the grill!.!.!.!.yum!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take a large pan of cold water (a large stockpot is preferable), and place the eggs into it!. If they float completely off the bottom and rise all the way to the top, then THROW THEM OUT!!! Otherwise, they may float up on one end, which just means they are not as fresh as you'd like, but ok to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
