Which cooking oil has the least taste?!

Question: Which cooking oil has the least taste!?
I want a tasteless oil for making croutons and breading!. Olive and peanut have a definite taste as does corn oil!. Canola is the best I have found so far, but it still affects the taste, diluting the onion, garlic, oregano and parmeisan!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Try Safflower Oil!. It is just as healthy as olive oil, but I find it leaves no taste at all!. I love how light and 'not there' it is!.
I feel canola does leave a taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Olive oil has so many health benefits - if you get the light olive oil, vs!. the extra virgin it shouldn't have as strong a taste!. I use extra virgin olive oil for my croutons!. To make up for the seasonings being diluted, add more, but you shouldn't be using that much oil for it to dilute the spices!. I mix the herbs and spices with my oil, and then toss it/mix it/coat the bread pieces before putting the pan in the hot oven!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grapeseed oil is the least tasting oil, but it is very expensive!. Canola would be next!. I know someone said they don't like EVOO for the croutons, but I think it would work with, not against, the flavors in your croutons without giving a strong taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Either canola or safflower oil!.!.!.but I would use olive oil for croutons, maybe regular or lite, not EVOO!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sunflower oil or ghee!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
