How long do pork hocks last?!

Question: How long do pork hocks last!?
I bought too many hocks last week when making soup, they have been in the fridge the whole time!.
Can i still use them, if it was a chicken fillet or steak i would be throwing them out i know, but i mean i bought from 2 different places, on a gourmet smallgoods and they have then just hanging in the air - so clearly i should be able to keep them for some time, but the supermarket has them in the deli section so now i'm confused!. I DO NOT WANT TO MAKE MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY SICK - i am giving this soup away to my sister and my neighbour!. Please tell me if pork hocks are the kind of food that keeps or if i should throw out and re buy!. Thankyou!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

If they were in the freezer, they should be fine!. If they were in the fridge, THROW THEM OUT!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They should be fine especially if you are making soup - you'll boil them and kill any bacteria that might be on them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could call the store and find out but since I don;t know how long you had them I would throw them out and next time put them in the freezer,Www@FoodAQ@Com

bin them, buy fresh and freeze any unused ones!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
