Answers:
The tick is the ignitor, which apparently isn't working if the flame doesn't kick up!. Turn the dial to the high position, or the biggest number, and light a match and put it toward the burner!. Don't let it sit on high for too long without lighting it!. If this doesn't work, your stove is busted or your gas has been shut off!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
As others have stated the ticking is the ignitor attempting to activate!. It could be it just has some dirt on it!. The space must be clear for contact to be made and the grill to ignite!. If you use the lighter/ match method suggested do not leave the gas on for over a few seconds !!Www@FoodAQ@Com
when it is ticking, that means it is trying to light!. Just try turning the gas up a little bit and see if it doesn't light!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Your electronic ignition is not lighting the flame for the grill!. Use a match or lighterWww@FoodAQ@Com
