MARMITE Whats going on ?!
Is it just me or does anyone else agree that marmite does not taste like it used to latley has a strange flavour i used tolove it but noe gone on to vegemite!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your Right!. Its lighter in colour thinner in texture and weaker in flavour!. my love affair with it is well and truly over! Consequently, I don't buy it any more and have gone over to Vegemite!

I loved the guiness marmite but the champagne one didn;t work for me!. I stick it in stews now, couldn't handle it on toast or on soft bread!.
Just remember if you have a kids party, follow Nigella's tip of pre-mixing the butter with the marmite!. Making it quikcer to spread!. Often wether it would be a good idea to pre-mix mine and stick it in the fridge ready for breakfast!. But then I wouldn;t be able to annoy hibby by licking the knife before I delve in for more butter!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Are you sure you have bought the original flavour!? There have been a couple of variations on the market just lately - Guiness and Champagne!. There is a difference so check the label!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Haven't noticed any change really and I have been eating it for just over 50 years!. In fact, I've just had a comforting Marmite sandwich and a cup of tea!. Now I'm off to bed, and no work tomorrow!Www@FoodAQ@Com
