Whats the best way to pack fudge?!
I am sending some of my home made fudge to a friend of mine in Canada and I am not sure what would be the best way to send it!. Every time I try to pack it in tight inside a brown bag I make a mess and it gets all over in the front of my pants so I decided to wrap and pack the fudge in plastic bag but I pack it in so tight that it explodes from the bag!.
Any suggestions!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are serious, may I suggest that you use parchment paper to seperate the layers of fudge!. Pack it in a cookie tin with layers of parchment paper in between!. Or use a sturdy box and the parchment paper!. Then place the condainer in a larger box with insulation surrounding the smaller condainer!.
The insulation can be shredded newspaper!.
The consistancy of your fudge concerns me!. If it is so soft as to make a mess, perhaps you need to review your recipe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Obviously, you need to stop with the "pack it in tight" thing!. Pack it loosely in plastic containers like Gladware or Rubbermaid and send it in a box with some filler like paper or foam peanuts, and wait until the weather is cooler!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
