Grey spots in chicken meat?!


Question: Grey spots in chicken meat!?
Why are those there!? I hate it when that happens! It's usually in KFC meat which I don't eat at all because it's disgusting! Whys is it there!? What causes it!? Like when you go to white spot and get their burgers you rarely find a gray area in the meat!.!.!. In thoughts and Input!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Color has to do with the different types of muscle fibers in chicken!.!.!.there are fast twitch and slow twitch!.

Fast twitch muscles like those found in the breast are white and slow twitch which are found in thighs and legs are dark meat!.

The reason for the spots is because fast and slow twitch are not seperate but interconnected!. The spots you see are just dark meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
