Yes, there is mad cow diesese and the bird flu, but your all forgetting the biggest one of all! You could get Vocanalisticicitis, (VO-can-alis-TI-CYT-itIS), which is a deisese that you get from cows!. When the cows eat grass, there is always bacteria, and this is a bacteria nobody knows how to rid of yet!. The symptoms are dying skin, red blotches, neusea, headache, stomachache, bloating, symptoms of dehydration, and diahrea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

animals that are sold at stores are ussually in best condition!. they have no diseases!. If you see on the news that a certain type of animal in your state is high on this diesease, then dont eat it!. im currently not eating raw tomatoes because in CT there is high salmenia poisoning in them!. so, if you are worried, just check the news!. they ussually do reports on infected food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There are no guarantees in life!. It is potentially possible to get something like Mad Cow Disease or Bird Flu, but the odds are so remote to be not worth considering!. (You are far more likely to get struck by lightning or hit by a car enroute to the grocery store!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Lately it appears that poorly washed vegetables are the main cause of disease/infection like the e-coli problems with tomatoes or the previous spinach and lettuce contaminations!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think we do a pretty good job!. Sometimes things slip by!. Mad Cow and Samanela but the odds are in your favor!. Eat healthy and be happy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Trichinosis, worms, E-coli, salmonellaWww@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe you could get something like ecoli or mad cow disease

but i doubt it ^^^^Www@FoodAQ@Com
