Aluminium + Oven =?!

Question: Aluminium + Oven =!?
Is it OK to use aluminium as a "base" (floor) in an oven (specifically a miniature about the size of a microwave) to heat food!. I don't mean wrap it but I guess that case could be presented!.

I'm just asking this cause I've heard it could be poisonous but those rumors could be false!.

also, I'd like to ask the same question with microwaves!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
