Answers:
you are kidding, right!? I would think that it would be pretty obvious whether a carrot is edible or not!. Use some common sense and if you aren't certain- don't eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can determine that it is expired by the color, smell, taste and shape for example if the carrot are starting to get black-brown edges that means that it is not suitable to be eaten and gone make you sick if you eat it !.

So if you have doubts it is rather better not to eat it !Www@FoodAQ@Com

carrot is not usually expired anyway, it could stay in your fridge for a long time!. When it expired, i think it should look soft rather hard, and it turn black with mold on it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't eat it if it is floppy, wrinkly, slimy, or has mold!. Otherwise, peel it and taste it!. If it tastes good it is good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it is still crisp and does not have any soft areas, rinse, peel and eat!. Otherwise toss it and buy new--they're not expensiveWww@FoodAQ@Com
