I'm a South Florida native and we unfortunately, are so transity that there is no real identity here!. Depending on what city you go to is what the food is, like Pompano is mostly Brazilian and Mexican and Boca is white so they love their overpriced Organic foods, Lauderdale is Caribbean and Miami is Cuban all the way!. I would say in general, people eat fast food!. Micky D's (McDonalds) and Taco Bell!. My vote for official state food is CHICKEN WINGS! Wing Stop baby!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I live in Texas but I'm actually Russian!. I was born there and came to America when I was 1!. I still go there during the summer to see my family!. I speak good Russian but I'm not very good at reading it!. So In Texas most people like BBQ but I actually like the Russian better ( sorry! ) In Russia we marinate our meat in a special sauce with I believe onions and some other stuff!. But we call it Shuashlek!. I really don't know how to spell it right but that's as close as I can get!. Hope that helps!!!
