Can sweet potatoes become toxic?!

Question: Can sweet potatoes become toxic!?
I've got some sweet potatoes that I bought about 3 weeks ago and that I'd like to use!. However, I'm not sure if they're still safe!. They look fine (almost like "new")!.

Should I use them!?

Thanks in advance!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

First of all babygirl, what ya makin'! Sweet potato pie or just regular ole' sweet potatoes!? Were they stored in a bag and kept under the counter or in the fridge!? Last, smell and squeeze lightly, if not fermenting and spongy then you are good to go!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sweet potatoes are good for about a month and a half to three months ,go ahead and use them they are okWww@FoodAQ@Com

Like all vegetables if they are not rotten you can sure use them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd say they're safe to use as long as they've been kept at room temperature and out of reach of chemicals, pests, and etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
