Question: What do you do with the oil which is once used for deep frying!?
Answers:
oil is expensive save it for one more use drain it thru a filter like a coffee filter and save rest fore next timeWww@FoodAQ@Com

I save mine in a glass jar!. However you need to wait until it cools then strain it so you don't have any crumbs in it!. I normally get 2 - 3 uses from the same grease and you can't tell the difference!. You do have to make sure that you do not mix the grease!. I have one for chicken and one for fish!. My grandmother keeps one for bacon as well, but I don't feel the need for that!. also if you make your own gravy or other sauces it is good to use the old grease becuase it already has flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depending on what was fried in it!.!. I re-use it!. Strain it through a wire strainer to get all the sediment out!. If I fried fish, shrimp, etc!. I keep it seperate from the other oils!. I re-use several times!. When I think the oil has "had it" I pour into an empty oil container and place in the garbage!. However, it is also good for starting bonfires!. Where I come from we have bonfires a lot!.!. so I just pour the old oil on there and gets the fire going really well!. However, be prepared for the smell of french fries for a bit!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Save it refrigerated!.

Get disposable paint filter funnels at the paint store or any hardware store!. They are very cheap!.

Put it back in original container and mark the date each time it is used!. If not burnt it can be reused many times!.

It can be stored in the dark, if container is too big for the fridge!.

Peanut oil is the best, but getting pretty costly!.

Good LuckWww@FoodAQ@Com

After it cools I strain back into it's original container, lable it with what I fried with it and refrigerate it!. It CAN be reused several times before it breaks down!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you deep fried chicken with it reserve it like every one says and use a little in the wok when you're making fried rice or a stir-fryWww@FoodAQ@Com

i put it in one of those chinese takeout soup containers and save it for later use

its such a waste to just throw it out like that:]Www@FoodAQ@Com

I pour it into an empty jar or container and throw it away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
