Breakfast ideas---possibly involving bagels---please advise :D?!

Question: Breakfast ideas---possibly involving bagels---please advise :D!?
Hi there,

Every morning i eat the same ruddy thing for breakfast-toast and marmite!. I can't eat cereal as the milk irritates and itches my mouth, and i'm getting so bored of the same old toast for breakfast *yawn*

I'm not worried about the carbs as i believe a big breakfast is good as you then have all day to work it off!.

I need another idea other than toast as i sometimes get so bored i go without---and then feel really sick lol!.

I'm thinking bagels!.!.!.!.but what goes best with them!? I've only ever had one before with cream cheese!.

What nice yummy bagel ideas has anyone got for bored-breakfast-me!? :D What tastes great in a bagel!?

thanks in advance xWww@FoodAQ@Com

I LOVE bagels, and there are all kinds to choose from if you find the plain ones boring!.

I like 'em with cream cheese (which also comes in flavors, here in the US)

Peanut butter is good on them!.

Make a sandwich out of it with some lunchmeat, cheese, and whatever condiments you enjoy!.

Cook an egg and some bacon or sausage, butter the bagel lightly, and have a good breakfast sandwich!.

The possibilities are endless!. You can treat it like sandwich bread and put anything on it you desire!.!.!.jam/jelly is good also!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Typically I also eat cream cheese with my bagel!. Peanut butter is also very good with them!. You can put PB on top of a thin layer of cream cheese, just use PB, or put a thin layer of butter, then the PB!.

also, a couple of scrambled eggs go well with bagels, you could add a slice of cheese and make it a sandwich!.

My hubby loves thin sliced ham, a poached egg, and a slice of cheese on a toasted bagel or english muffin!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like to put a couple slices of swiss cheese and canadian bacon on a toasted bagel and then put it under the broiler to melt the cheese!. Put the two halves together and eat it like a bagel sammich! Delicious!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Of course, cream cheese!. I like the favored ones!.
You can make a breakfast sandwich with the bagel, bacon or sausage, eggs and cheese!.
You can also put jam, on the bagel!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here are some of my favorite bagel toppings!. Usually with cream cheese on them:
- Smoked salmon
- Pepperoni
- Capers and diced red onion
- Any combination of the aboveWww@FoodAQ@Com

I used to wake up to a raw oat breakfast with using quick oats and that was breakfast with some fruit
also just dry cheerios or the many off brands of cheerios
but now i make either hardboiled eggs and or just using eggs and make them scrambled and two slices of toast every morning eggs are so good for you and very nutritious two aday is fine but see i don't eat alot of crap or anything i eat a natural and or organic diet so i don't add any seasoning or topping to my food or any condiments i try to eat whole grains 4-5 of them a day fresh fruit at least 2 because they contain alot of sugar and 5 veges because their good to get and more lean protein like tuna and lean chicken and turkey
but in your case I would take a whole wheat bagel with raisins and use some cream cheese
you can also get a plain bagel toast it butter it
or a plain bagel with cream cheese and jelly is good too
just watch what you take in and you should be okayWww@FoodAQ@Com

Quick pancakes

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
1 1/3 cups milk
butter for frying

U can keep all the dried ingredients in a tub (make up a huge batch) then its always ready when u need it for a quick brekkie!.
Then add rest of ingredients (these amounts make bout 10 pancakes)

If you have a hot plate use that, i just spoon a dollop of the mixture onto the hotplate!.
when the surface is covered in little air bubbles (within seconds) its time to flip, for same amount of time, and voila!

i have mine with some blueberries or rasperries heated up in a sugar/water syrup!.

Yum! (gets part of ur five-a-day in too!)Www@FoodAQ@Com
