Question: I was wondering if anyone knows if you can successfully freeze Buckeyes (candy)!?
We need to make 400 for a wedding and do not want to leave it till the last week, too much to do so little time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, Buckeyes - the candy, not the nuts - freeze wonderfully!. Make sure the chocolate coating is completely cool and then freeze them laid out on rimmed cookie sheet or whatever else you have that will have them in a single layer!. Once they're frozen, you can pour them together into ziplock bags until the morning of the wedding!.

If you are talking about the candy!.!.!.peanut butter dipped in chocolate!? Thats the only Buckeyes that I know of!. Absolutely safe!. I cater as well and I freeze stuff like that all the time!. Especially around the holidays!. They will be fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
