Use coupons, buy in bulk, and always look for buy one get one free deals!. Use the Kroger plus card if you shop there!. Buy generic brands whenever possible!. I doubt that any of the items that you mentioned could be preserved by freezing, but that would work if you buy any healthy sorts of TV dinners, bread, lean meat, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Always always buy generic brands!. With the exception of foods that don't have generic brands, make sure you buy generic!. It is exactly the same! For foods that will last a long time, buying in bulk will save you money in the long run!. Don't buy things in bulk that are easily perishable though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you have a Costco near you!? They have great quality food (better quality and more upscale selections than some of the other discount warehouses)!. You can get big boxes of a variety of protein bars, they have packs of tuna cans, large containers of cottage cheese, boxes of apples, big jars of almonds and peanuts (very high quality), dried fruit!. I'd say you can get 2/3 of what is on your list at Costco, plus you'll save on other household items like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, toiletries!. Their fresh meat and poultry is excellent!.

It's true that you always have to buy large quantities, but they aren't huge!. It's not like you have to buy a whole case of tuna fish!. I think they make you buy 6 or 8 cans at a time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
