Why do fruits rott so fast ?!


Question: Why do fruits rott so fast !?
so i just took a bite out of my apple
and then 20 seconds later it starts to turn brown from the part i took the bite offWww@FoodAQ@Com

its the oxygen that is turning them brown!. There is not much of a taste difference!. They just dont look too nice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Apples turn brown through oxidation, a chemical reaction that occurs when the apple flesh is exposed to oxygen!. There are a few solutions!.!.!.!.!.use citric acid (eg lemon juice, grapefruit juice,orange juice etc)!.!.!.!.!.cook the apple flesh, or vacuum pack the cut apples to prevent the oxygen affecting the apple flesh!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Apples & bananas do that, it is still ok to go on eating it!. To keep fruit fresh longer, store it in the fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oxidization thingie or not, I don't recon they taste as good when they have gone brown !.!. eat faster or buy more apples!!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
