Did something stupid... help!?!

Question: Did something stupid!.!.!. help!!?
Bought bulk 2kg of chicken breast, and accidently froze it all together!

I can't use the whole lot in a night, can't unstick them, so if I defrost them can I refreeze them!?

If not, should I just make all the dishes for the week today and freeze that!? How long would cooked chicken dishes (pasta, rice, curry sort of stuff) last in the freezer!?

PLEASE HELPWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
can not re freeze after thawing, can cook and freeze!. You can make it into dishes or cook and cut up or shredd and freezeshould last about 1 month, just dont over cook if your going to freeze it ,due to when you thaw it out and warm it up it will dry out too much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could thaw the whole bag of chicken breast and make individual casseroles then freeze the casserole but mark them with the date you made them!.

I wouldn't keep the casseroles in the freezer more than three months!.

If you want you could just cook the chicken in a broth and then freeze that and then just add it to your favorite chicken recipe at a later date, but no long than 3 months!.

hope this helps!. good luck and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just cook all the chicken!.!.!. and then freeze it!.!. You can thaw it out as you want to use it!.!. chop it!.!.shred it!.!. whatever you need to do and it will make your dinners faster and easier too !!! I would do it this way all the time :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should make all the dishes for the week and freeze them as it is considered unsafe practice to thaw and refreeze produceWww@FoodAQ@Com
