Answers:
I wash all of my fruits and veggies in a cool bath of water with a drop of essential lemon oil!. Then I rinse them, dry them well and put them in a plastic bag, wrapped in a paper towel in the fridge; or I put them in a bowl on the counter, for items that don't require refrigeration, like tomatoes, apples, bananas, etc!. The lemon oil is anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, and really improves the storage capacity and flavor of fruits and vegetables!.

It's okay to cut the bad part off of fruits and vegetables; people have been doing that over the ages, especially when there was not much to eat!. We really do waste way too much food!. I compost what doesn't get eaten, so I don't feel quite so guilty when I have to throw something out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I sometimes keep my vegetables wrapped in a paper towel to soak up the moisture from the refrigerator!. Maybe your frig is too cold!. You are putting them in the frig right!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

there's an ad on t!.v!. about a green bag that keeps vegetables for a longer time!.!.!.!.i haven't tried them as of yetWww@FoodAQ@Com
