Answers:
I've never had them shrink that much!. I'll bet they aren't very juicy, either!. Are you cooking them too long!? 350 to 375 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes, depending on the size, should do it!. I've seen recipes that say to roast them for an hour, but that's too long, and they dry out too much for my taste!. They need to an internal temperature of 160 degrees, then !. remove them from the oven, keep them coverd and let them sit a few minutes to allow internal temperature to rise to 170 degrees!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should try Purdue chicken!. cheap chicken shrinks!. SPECIAL NOTE: chicken has to be cooked to 180 internal degrees!. there is also no need to cover the chicken while baking!. use a meat thermometer it says poultry 180 right on itWww@FoodAQ@Com

They will shrink slightly as the juices come out, but not that much!.!.!. Try searing the skin in a frying pan for a few minutes first, then bake them!.!. Searing the skin will keep the juices in as you bake them!. ENJOY! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

They're losing water!. Perhaps you're overcooking them!. Stop cooking them when they reach about 145°F internal temperature!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

all meat shrinks when you cook it!.!. how severe the shrinkage is depends on the amount of water in the meat as well as the fat content!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a breast man and I don't like to see anything shrink, but if you invite me over I'll be happy to check them out for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Genetically Modified Food!.
Poison if you ask me!Www@FoodAQ@Com

When you cook it, it loses moisture and the meat is probably tough!. The muscle fibers tighten when it is cooked!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
