How come fries get cold so fast even though potatoes hold in their heat so long?!

Question: How come fries get cold so fast even though potatoes hold in their heat so long!?
Answers:
They are smaller in size and cannot hold the heat as long!. Haven't you noticed potatoes cool down faster when you cut them up smaller!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because fries are small, they contain less heat in the first place, calling for them to release it just as quickly!!
