How long does milk last after the expiration date?!

Question: How long does milk last after the expiration date!?
Answers:
If kept properly refrigerated, milk is good for 7 days past its sell by date - that is the date that is found on the container!. I keep my milk in the special door compartment of my fridge with a bottle of frozen ice water to make sure that it is kept as cold as possible!.

I worked in food service and commercial kitchens while in High School and College!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It varies!. The higher the fat content the longer it lasts!. Smell it and if it doesn't smell sour, take a small taste!. If it tastes okay, you're good to go (or that's my method and it's never failed me)!.

EDIT: "The shelf life of milk is affected by several factors including how the product was handled before it reaches the consumer!. When stored at 40 degrees Fahrenheit and not left unrefrigerated for extended periods, it should last approximately 7 days past the sell-by date on the container"Www@FoodAQ@Com

i don't honestly know, any milk we have here is usually drank well before the expiry date, i wouldn't suggest anyone drink it after that date to avoid anyone having a bad stomach, AnnWww@FoodAQ@Com
