Question: What are the advantages nutritionally of fresh fruit and vegetables versus canned!?
Answers:
vegetables are canned are in water and a lot of the vitamins and minerals in the veggies end up getting absorbed by the water!. They are usually cooked too!. So in the cooking process even more vitamins and minerals are removed from the veggies!.
The best way to eat veggies is raw or steamed, not boiled!. Again the water removes a lot of what makes veggies so good for you!.!.!. and the water is the part that get tossed out!. They also add preservatives to canned food and sometimes sodium (salt)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

All fruit and veggies contain natural enzymes that degrade over time!. While canned food IS convenient, is most certainly contains less enzymes than you would find in fresh picked fruit and vegetables!. The enzymes are not only good for your body, but they can also affect taste - corn, for example, tastes noticeably less sweet for every hour from when it's picked!.

Canned is certainly more convenient, and often pre-peeled and prepared, but taste and nutrition are the things that one trades-off for that convienience!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eating fresh veggies and fruits lets you enjoy the real flavor of the food!. It is not processed and has NO additives or preservatives in them!. Food absorbs the metals from the can, once you eat them, you consume that poison into your body!.

Frozen is always a good alternative to canned!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
