If I pack a chicken salad sandwich for lunch will the bread get too soggy to eat by the time my break comes?!
I won't get my lunch break for four hours!. Will the bread stand up!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say it depends on what kind of bread you are using!. If it is not a sturdy bread like sourdough or some kind of artisan bread, your sandwich will be soggy!. Packing the chik!. salad separately, as suggested by others would probably be your best bet!. Enjoy your lunch!Www@FoodAQ@Com
The main thing won't be whether the bread is soggy!.!.!. chicken salad if made with mayo and eggs, needs to stay at the proper temperature to prevent bacteria from growing and causing food poisoning!.
The chicken salad can be placed in a plastic container and transported on ice if the cold will last 4 hours in your lunch container!. Put the bread in ziploc bags apart from the salad!. Pack a spoon and make the sandwich when you get your break!. Just make sure the chicken salad is still cold!.

yes, it will, just have a separate container for your chicken salad and for your bread, and make it in your office!.!.store it to a room temperature because if you place it in a cold place it would come up into cold toasted bread!.!.!. and if ever you separate the bread to chicken salad, there's a chance that you can share it to your officemates!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I used to sell sandwiches to my friends in the office!. Make them at night, do not add mayo!.!.and put them in the fridge!.
Add a bit of mayo in the sandwich the next day before going to work if u must, but better not to have any at all!.
