Use as little as possible!. It's best to not use any added salt if you are buying processed foods!. Try to learn to eat foods without salt!. If you need it, use it sparingly!.

For cooking 1/8 tsp of salt is accepted!.
For soups in the can or package Low Sodium, you are allowed 150 grams of
Sodium per day, so check the labels if you're buying soups in the can, and don't
add salt to food you buy, the sodium content in it is enough!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well a certain amount of salt is essential but too much is bad for you the reccommended daily allowance of salt is 6 grams so if you eat no more than that you will be fine ! :)
On most food products the amount of salt should be printed on the back of packagingWww@FoodAQ@Com

Honey, salt is not something you want to overdo in your diet, you probably get enough salts in your diet with fishes, vegetables, and other foods that you eat! Never try to substitute salt into your diet!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would say not to add salt to your food!. If you are not adding any extra salt the sodium that is in the processed food will be ok for you!. Try seasoings like Mrs!. Dash!. They taste great and are salt free!. Salt is not the only thing that flavors food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Salt is not near as bad as everyone makes it out to be!. Your body is made up of a percentage of salt!. If you are trying to diet than I would look at the cutting the bacon bits out more than I would worry about the salt!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
