White fuzzy mold on my fridge food. What is it? What can I do to prevent it?!

Question: White fuzzy mold on my fridge food!. What is it!? What can I do to prevent it!?
I've been getting white fuzzy mold on food that I store in my fridge!. The food is stored in tupperware!. The fridge interior looks very clean and doesn't smell at all!. I've been wondering what type of mold it is, but I haven't been able to identify it by searching google!. This is an old fridge that came with the house, and I've stored french cheeses with white mold rinds inside the fridge!. It seems to find it's way mysteriously into the tupperware!. It has grown on salsa (not cooked) and well cooked dishes containing mushrooms!. It looks like fuzzy white marble sized half-spheres!. The fridge in the house that I owned before this one didn't produce any mold in my tupperware food!. Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Most likely, the mould is likely fungal spores from your french cheeses!. However, it's strange that it's appearing INSIDE the tupperware, which leads me to believe that either a) you're storing mould ripened cheese in tupperware (SHAME ON YOU!), or b) you've had something else in those containers that had a fungal contamination before, and wasn't cleaned properly!.
I'd suggest that you first try throwing out all of your tupperware that causes this problem, and trying with new ones!. Micro scratches in plastics can harbour fungus, bacteria and other microorganisms that can cause serious illnesses, diseases and potentially death!.
If that doesn't work, using a solution of 2tbsp (30ml) of bleach to 1qt (1L) of warm water, and cleaning the entire inside of the fridge may help!. Using a steam cleaner will do the same thing, as will a Quaternary Ammonia/Iodine solution!.
As a last resort, I'd suggest replacing your fridge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

don't leave your food in your fridge for so long!.
if this isn't the case then your fridge isn't cold enough to keep bacteria from growing!.

turn the temp down
bleach your fridge clean
and don't let food sit there for more than 1-2 weeks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

im sorry to say ive never heard of it but the only smart way to get rid or the problem is get rid of every thing in ur fridge incuding the chese scrub out ur fridge and re fill it with fresh new food its simpleWww@FoodAQ@Com

Make sure your fridge is at a normal temperature; 33F-45F are within the standard range

You might want to rid of any of those french cheeses, maybe they are spreading it!.

Consider getting a new fridge!

Check expiration datesWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would also invest in new tupperware!. Sounds like maybe some is hiding in the crevasses and contaminating your food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

freezer burn!Www@FoodAQ@Com
