fish and chips on a seaside beats curry any day!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Andy, Andy, Andy!.!.!.when will you realize that the British call salt and pepper "herbs" and that once every Brit has tasted curry once and never eaten it again, all those Indian curry houses in London will only have tourists as customers!? As they say in Britain "If it's fried, fat and salty, it's haute cuisine!."

Evidently their American cousins have gone overboard with the fat/fried thing, but with just over 300 million inhabitants, Indian curry houses in America will thrive!. But the world will rue the day that Indians give up curry and start eating at McDonalds!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

fish and chips is much better - you can see what you are getting!.

curry is ok only if it is home-made - shop bought curry can contain absolutely anything and usually does (can you actually tell the difference between rat meat and chicken meat or dog food in a curry!? - I can't - local bombay restaurant got closed down!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Curry is lovely (especially as a takeaway) but I don't think you can beat fish and chips on the beach on a summers evening at sunset!.!.!.!. perfect (especially when the fish is the size of an acoustic guitar!) Love it, and I'm very hungry now! xx!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not sure what a curry is, but I prefer food from the Indian sub-continent to fish 'n chips!. Last time I ate fish 'n chips, I was visiting the UK with a colleague who is originally from South America - and well, if you're British, you have to, don't you!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
