In a 4 cup maker, IF you are making a 2-quart pitcher, you'll need 4 tea bags and then after you brew the four cups of tea, add 1/2 c sugar to the hot tea and then add cold water or cold water and ice to chill!.!.!.Be sure you stir and melt the sugar BEFORE you add the cold water!!

It's really good when you make it like this!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have used my coffee maker for regular brewed tea for a long time!. I use one bag for the 4-cup model and it makes a great 2 mugfuls of tea!. Since you are wanting to make iced tea, I would simply put a second bag in and let it brew!. If you want it stronger than that, simply put the bags into the carafe after brewing and let it steep for a while longer!. That should make it strong enough to pour over ice to get good iced tea!. (Or you could just brew and cool if you want!.) The biggest factor should be your taste in tea and how strong you personally like it!. Hope that helps!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 teabags should be sufficient,If you want to get "hopped up"don't add any water, put it in the frig as is or enough ice to make it cold!.buzzzzzzzzzWww@FoodAQ@Com
