How do you pick out a good plumb?!
I was in the grocery yesterday and grabbed three plumbs!. I've eaten two of them, and they aren't as sweet as plumbs I've had in the past!. How do you know which plumb to pick!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
I usually get the ones that are firm and I smell them, a nice smell is a good indication that they are sweet and ripe enough!. I also see if they are heavy or light, the heavier the juicer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I have heard many of the food experts on Food Network say that one of the best tests of a fruit's quality is by its smell!. If a peach smells like a peach or a tomato smells like a tomato, then it is probably ripe!.
Of course, you will also want to conduct a visual inspection of the fruit to make sure there are no bruises, worm holes, etc!.
But!.!.!. follow your nose!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if they are soft, but not to soft because that could mean they are a little to ripe!. also you may want to get them kind of firm if you don't plan on eating them right awayWww@FoodAQ@Com
