Can I freeze cloves of garlic?!

Question: Can I freeze cloves of garlic!?
I have a few heads of garlic that I would like to freeze, so that they won't go bad while I am waiting to use them!. What is the best way to freeze them!? Should I peel them first!? Thanks for any info you can share!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
If you can vacuum seal them so they dont get freezer burn!. If not do your best to get all the moisture and air out of the bag you freeze them in!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mom used to blend the garlic in a paste and put them in the ice cube trays to freeze into individual cubes!. Then she would put them in ziplock for long term storage!.

I don't know if you have enough garlic to make this worthwhile, but this is an option!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
