Christians drinking tea?!

Question: Christians drinking tea!?
As a Christian, who is a firm believer in not drinking alcohol, is it OK for me to drink tea!? Becuase it follows the same logic as alcohol, and can easily be abused!.
What are your opinions of Christians who drink tea!?

I don't remember Jesus drinking tea!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I thought that Christians drink wine during the Eucharist and that Jesus drank wine too!. Even the Kosher laws, which are amongst the strictest dietary laws in the Abrahamic religions, allow wine (perhaps the only Kosher allowance that is Haram in Islam, as much of the other Islamic dietary *restrictions* seem to be a subset of Jewish dietary restrictions)!.

Perhaps, what you mean to say is that it is not very Christian-like to become an alcoholic, to abuse a substance, and that alcohol is a substance that can be easily abused!. In that sense, I do not believe that tea is so easily abused, nor addictive!. Although I personally drink *lots* of tea, I actually prefer herbal teas!. Coffee and caffeinated sodas, on the other hand, might have some more addictive qualities: I used to have some phases in which I drank a lot of coffee, and then when I abruptly quit I would get headaches for a while!. Not so with tea!.

So, I think that both from the Biblical perspective and the health perspective, tea is good to go!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's okay, Christ said of the pharisees when they saw the disciples eating grain from the field without washing their hands that they had commited a sin, but he said that it is not what a mna puts into his mouth that defiles him but what comes out because what comes out of your mouth comes form your heart and that is where a man should be pure and clean!. About alchohol, it says in proverbs that a too much wine is not for kings and strong drink not for princes, and let the man who is in his sorrow drink and forget his misery!. I am paraphrsing becasue , I am not as well studied in Bible verse as some, but this is the message!. Christ and the disciples drank wine, but I am sure they didn't drink to become intoxicated!. I don;t know what you are drinking tea for but if it is to become intoxicated than I suggest not to, especially Ma Huang tea, don't abuse tea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Coffee, Teas, Chocolate are all Excitotoxins!.
Literally the "Excite" your brain to death!. That is why many true health advocates eliminate them from their diets!.
I do not know if Jesus drank "Tea", but I do know he did drink Wine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, the Bible never specifically mentions Jesus drinking tea!. And I suppose caffeine CAN be abused!. (American Southerners drink a LOT of tea!.) I've never really thought about Christians drinking tea, but if you have doubts about it, don't do it!Www@FoodAQ@Com
