Question: What is the most bizarre food you have ever eaten and how did it taste!?
Answers:
"Bizarre" for someone raised on meat-and-potatoes American food: Tentacle soup of some sort (octopus, squid, who knows what else was in it) and chirimoya juice as a beverage, at the central seafood market in Santiago, Chile!.

Both were fantastic, although I did relish eating the food and watching my (American) professor's nine-year-old kid stare wide-eyed at my meal!. (I won't say I didn't ham it up a bit for his benefit, either!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I only eat webers bread,(the kind you can make icky little balls out of) frenchs mustard, and all meat hot dogs!. Face it American processed food is as bizarre and unwholesome as your going to find anywhere!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They have a restaurant here in north carolina that serves alligator tail!. It was really good!. It tastes like chicken but has the texture of fish!. And I have tried chocolate covered grasshopper!. That was nasty!. :@Www@FoodAQ@Com

I tried some alligator at a wild game restaurant!. The only reason why I tried it was because I'd had one two many!.!.!.so all I remember is that it was very chewy!.
