I love olives, too, but they aren't very healthy!. They are very high in salt due to the brine they are marinated and packed in!. They are also high in fat!.

Here's some calorie info!. The black are definitely higher in calories than the green:
1 green, fresh medium size of 6g contains 2 calories!.
1 black, fresh medium size of 6g contains 10 calories!.
3 green in brine medium size contain 25 calories!.
3 black in brine, medium size contain 40 calories!.
3 stuffed, medium size of 20g contain 25 calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

they do contain alot of sodium, but just like you I LOVE OLIVE, mainly BLACK OLIVES, i could eat them everymeal,!

but they can be healthy for you if you get hte fresh ones, not hte ones in a can=)
and if your not able to buy fresh ones, read the health labels for the ones in a can or jar!.
