When saving left-overs, is it OK to put them in containers and into the fridge while they are still warm?!

Exlusively not to keep it warm or hot in fridge !. The leftovers has to be cool down to room temperature and they only to keep it in the fridge as recommended by the manufactureres of the fridge and also by the Dieticians !. Its a myth to keep it hot and warm in the fridge to avoid bacteria!. The bacterial growth can be generated only if your kitchens and equipments are not kept hyhenically , lest, the bacterias cannot be generated !.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It's less energy-efficient to put warm stuff into the refrigerator - it costs nothing to let it cool a while on the countertop!.

they can spoil if you put them in the fridge when they are still warm!. My mom spent 90 dollars making seafood gumbo for christmas eve and she put it in the fridge while it was warm and we took it out to heat it up and eat it; it had spoiled and smelled disgustingWww@FoodAQ@Com
The only reason we were ever told not to put hot food in the fridge is because it raises the temperature inside the fridge up and it could cause other things to spoil with the fluctuation of temperature!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
